If you love being outside in nature, then you must check out these 5 walks and waterfalls within the Camden Haven.

1. Perpendicular Point

This 3.7km return walk is perfect for whale watching, birdwatching and photography. It’s well signposted with gentle hills and the occasional staircase as you overlook the sparkling ocean and can see all the way to Port Macquarie.

2. Ellenborough Falls

Explore the tallest waterfall in NSW at Ellenborough Falls. Width height of 200m there are 4 ways to experience the falls based on your fitness level. Everything from a boardwalk lookout at the top, to adventuring down the 641 steps to experience the falls from below.

3. Swans Crossing

This camping and picnic area in Kerewong State Forest was originally farmland. If you like bird watching, you’ll love this walk as it immerses you in wildlife. It is only a short walk through to cascades and swimming holes, making it the perfect day out for everyone.

4. Waitui Falls

Found in Comboyne State Forest near Coorabakh National Park. This waterfall is a great swimming spot or place for a picnic. However, it can be an adventure to find with vague roadside markers.

5. Diamond Head

This campground offers the perfect walk around Crowdy Head National Park. Whilst dodging kangaroos and looking at the gorgeous ocean views the track will take you over to Indian Head and Kylie’s Hut. It’s well worth the walk as you are sure to experience headlands, hills and beautiful beaches.
