Originating from Noosa, Geoff at the young age of 16, joined the Air Force in Nambull. Serving the country for 11 years, and in 1972 when he met his wife, Elaine. Following his Air Force tenure, Geoff owned and ran a canvas print manufacturing business in the local community until the 2005 where the bushfires changed everything.
This gave Geoff and Elaine a chance to travel around Australia. Post-travel, Geoff found his second job as a maintenance worker at Mt Druitt, in Sydney.
Geoff has only ever had 3 jobs and each day he truly cannot wait to get out of bed.
Following the 2013 bushfires, Geoff and Elaine visited Kew, where they were captivated by Camden Haven’s charm. Three weeks later, they purchased their property, and they haven’t left since.
You’ll find Geoff and Elaine at Birdsville’s Rock N Roll Festival each year or actively contributing to the Kew community.
Geoff has been collecting and writing trails around the Camden Haven for over 10 years now. Here you’ll find many days trips that you can explore all over the region. Enjoy!
