Laurieton Riverwalk Markets

If you need an afternoon walk to refresh your mind, North Haven the perfect place for a family outing to enjoy the sunshine. Take a stroll together up the break wall and watch the dolphins play and fishermen catch their dinner.
Beach To Beach Walk and Cycle Pathway
North Haven has a fantastic pathway that hugs the entire waterway and takes you all the way into Laurieton and over the bridge to Dunbogan.
Start at North Haven Beach, grab a coffee and a treat at Beach Break Café and start your trip. Keep an eye out for dolphins, and watch those fishing on the break wall or sandbar catch their dinner.
If a cruisey bike ride is more your thing, rent a bike and enjoy the view on two wheels. Boomerang Bike Hire North Haven is a hassle-free bike hire system, similar to a vending machine that requires a credit card to unlock the bike – open every day and super easy.
The bike station is located on the foreshore at North haven, opposite the Shell Riverside Service Station. Free helmets and locks are available from the Service Station.
This scenic pathway meanders along the waterway, taking you from North Haven to Laurieton and over the bridge to Dunbogan.
North Haven River Baths
The river baths are located at the eastern end of North Haven and accessed via Ostler Park.
Offstreet car parking makes it easy to access the baths and there are park bench seats to sit and take in the river views.
There is stair access to the river which is a popular swimming location in summer for the local children.
Foodies Delight
North Haven Bakery, a local gem dishing out freshly baked delights whilst looking over the water is just one of many local cafes that’s worth the visit.
Enjoy freshly baked good and treats, and share laughs with those you love, you’ll discover the art of simply being. Make sure you check out their custom cakes, they are simply amazing and super popular with the locals.
Moo and Bean:
Welcome to Moo & Bean A much-loved neighbourhood local tucked away in a delightful North Haven.
Their warm and inviting atmosphere is perfect for savouring delicious food and drinks with friends and family.
From small plates to share to smoked brisket nachos, seafood pastas, and extensive cocktails they offer a variety of dishes that are sure to satisfy.
Don’t miss their live music on Sunday afternoons is the perfect place to enjoy great music, good food and even better company.
Places To Stay
Haven Waters Motel and Apartments is situated on the banks of the Camden Haven River.
Richard and Sandy Legge purchased the leasehold over 2 years ago.
The Motel layout includes motel rooms with queen, twin and king beds together with one and two-bedroom apartments.
The apartments include full kitchens, dining and lounge areas and are great for those longer stays.
The motel was recently reviewed and rated by Quality Tourism Association and was awarded 3.5 stars out of 4.
Haven Waters is the ideal spot to base yourself in North Haven to explore the Camden Haven and Greater Port Macquarie regions.
A short walk to Club North Haven for meals and refreshments, all guests receive the member’s prices on food and drink at Club North Haven by showing their room tag.
Guests can also walk to the beach, cafes, and restaurants. Relax by the swimming pool, drop a line in the river across the road. Cook your freshly caught fish on our BBQ in the large, covered BBQ area.
The motel has panoramic views of North Brother Mountain which in turn offers spectacular views of the Camden Haven.

The Propagation Station:
The Propagation Station has a story, it’s a story at its core about David Shorter and his partner Shaun Thornton, owners and creators.
During the pandemic, David and Shaun started trialing every kind of plant to propagate and through success and a whole lot of heartbreak, they created their signature hydro plants.
There is a large range of Propagation stations available in-store & online plus a bunch of cool at the local market and pop-up events around the region, plus of course on socials.
The store is full of botanic /home decor solutions and affordable gifts for every budget, and have become known as a destination gift store.
There are also art pieces, including one-off pieces by local artists like the renowned Diane Solomon Westerhuis, Kay Thurston, Noelle Creates and Little Miss Cherub.
They are passionate about supporting locals, which means you will find various local brands such as Indian Sun Candles, Soap by Delma and Ebbsworth Pots.
They love hosting events in the beautiful space outside the store, where they hold day classes, kids’ classes, NDIS classes, private bookings & functions, and fundraising events.
